soccer....

okay- not the best picture- okay, horrible pic- but this was as close as we got to getting Mia's FIRST soccer goal. That small object on the left of the pic is Mia kicking that winning goal! woo-hoo!

we've been having fun with soccer this year. We finally figured out the motivating secret for Mia- last week we offered and icecream if she scored a goal- well, she scored THREE! it was a lot of fun to really see her getting in the action!

SO cute- we tried to convince Mamaw and Papaw that they needed to get some goats when they move to their delaware 'farm'.

well, look who else squeezed into the banana train- thankfully, no shots were taken of me getting in or out a very tight squeeze!

A quick trip to the pumpkin farm- we went early so Mom and Dad, Donny, Sara, and Landon could all meet up! Plus- coupon if you go in September! Even though we arrived 30 min before they closed- we had a nice time, albeit short!

We enjoyed a visit with Uncle Donny, Aunt Sara- and of course- the newest star- LANDON! Diego is enthralled by babies, so he really enjoyed kissing and staring at his new cousin.

Here are a few of Mia's first day of PRESCHOOL- she was, of course, excited and had no issue with waving goodbye and running off into the classroom- hopefully I will get some classroom pics at a later day- unfortunately- we had grumpy little brother that prevented some picture taking at the actual drop off! can't wait to hear about her day when I pick her up this afternoon....

We had a garage sale and Mia had her first lemonade stand- she did GREAT- the folks were so nice- some people just gave her a dollar- I think she made about $15! She was quite persistent telling every parent that they needed to buy lemonade for their kids~! oh, what a character!

Diego, is seems, is a big fan of accessories- though it irks Rod that I've let him carry the Cinderella purse out in PUBLIC! ha ha ha
