we found a nice little orchard just minutes away in Marion Ohio. They were having a "Fall Festival" with wagon rides, petting zoo, music and other fun activities.

so.....this little guy is so big he is OFF the CHARTS! Nothing like needing 12 m. clothes for your 4 month old! Give this dude a basketball!

labor day weekend project. AKA. the MATEO project.

It all began with a baby....
all these hours sitting on the couch nursing little sweet one....I would stare at our living room wall...combine that with a little (okay, a lot of HGTV) I decided we needed to 're-design' the space- so, inspired by fabric for a new valance in the kitchen- our color palette in the kitchen/dining space has changed from the blues and browns- to primary. We love our new board and batten wall- it really changes the look of the room. The kitchen/dining room got a face lift as well with the yellow paint, new seat covers, lamp shades, and the famous new valance....all in all- a great weekend project...
