A Mullet Lake Vacation...

The kids and I took our first mini-vacation to the LAKE! We joined 2 friends and their girls at a lake house in Michigan. 7.5 hour car ride wasn't as bad as I had envisioned....though we only achieved a 'trifecta' of all three kids asleep for a brief but blissful 45 min. We played on the shore, waded in the beautiful and clear water, took a ferry ride to Mackinaw Island, and had a really great time. Thanks to Elizabeth for inviting us up to the lake house!

Mia and Diego were having a jam session on the piano. Too bad we did not have a video of this one. Oh, and a little known fact- apparently photos add not only 10 lbs but DUST! hah, as if our piano would be that dusty- gasp!!!

apparently Diego will be high maintenance- he was trying to let us know that he would like us to purchase high end styling products containing AVOCADO....so he can maintain his shiny locks.
