Memorial Day weekend fun

we took a weekend getaway with friends to Mansfield Ohio- only about 45 min away. To a hotel with a perfect little water park for little ones.  It was a great time. This might be a new tradition with the Angulos and Colemans....

Talk about time flying- its seems faster with each child- ONE, already?  I know- don't we all say that?  What a sweet little fellow he is- he is always leaning into you to give little baby "hugs", his engaging smile- he really has been a fun little guy so far.  Can't wait to see what his personality evolves into- our little Mattie-moo! What a blessing!

No secret that Rod and I keep busy with projects and projects...so, we thought it would be fun to keep a little catalog of some of our creations- it will be fun to look back on.   We enjoy our pictures through the years- the old kitchen, new kitchen- hey look, a new wall color.  Really, it never stops around here.   Now- with creative juices ever flowing (thanks pinterest and fellow creator in bloggy land) we have even more ideas.  So, hence, the creation of a new blog to keep track of our fun.

Diego's birthday party...

Diego wanted a "wipeout' birthday- so we came up with this obstacle course- no big red balls, but we did have red stepping stones to leap from...the kids had a good time!  SPECIAL thanks to Mom and Dad- aka Mamaw and Papaw for ALL the help....and of course to Rod for all the help- and putting up with my nerves with massive party prep...

Some preschool friends....plus the usual suspects of Mia's friends and families.  Of course, I did not manage a group shot in all the craziness...
