Happy Birthday , Mom! We celebrated at the "doughnut factory" - we managed to get there when the "HOT" light was on. So we all had a fun time watching them make...then eating some yummy Krispy Kreme goodness. Later we celebrated LANDON's FIRST birthday at the Grandview pool...but, of course, I was not organized enough to manage the camera and the kids on this outing...

Mia's Big Splashy Party

The 4th annual Mia pool party- it seems our little girl..and our pool have been growing!~ Rod and I had a blast trying to create a crazy, fun backyard. We lucked out with a wonderful sunny sunny day. Great to have a kid party where the adults get to have fun too!

We said goodbye to Makaila today- she was declining in health and the vet recommended we let her go comfortably.

They say all dogs go to heaven- so we'll see her again there....

RIP- it was a good eight years that we had her with the family. our first baby....

We had to bring in the big dog machines to try to conquer our crazy, very unlevel backyard in order to put the BIG pool up- already in use- the kids love it! all ready for Mia's 5 POOL party this weekend...
