The DEBUT!
Mia is very excited to model her NEW Spring/Summer 2011 Swimsuit line- we think it is rather cute as well! Will be FUN this summer
more SNOW! okay, lets jump in!
Building the ice castle...
Oh, Mia...
I would imagine that 'bubble bath beards' feel better than 'snow beards' but fun for the Dude anyway...
After a roll down the hill...
FORT!
As annoying? sad? that it is to see more of this white stuff (sorry, major spring fever here- lots that I want to do before the big addition!) Anyway, enough snow/ice, etc that there was no school up north here in Delaware- which makes for a nice day not to have to BE anywhere- no preschool, etc! woo-hoo! So after a lazy morning eating breakfast (no electricity!) we headed out to play because after Mommy shoveled the driveway she had found it to be heavy- but excellent packing snow! Since the electric had return to grace us with its presence we knew we'd have a warm home to curl up in once we'd finished some outdoor fun! SO, that complete- NOW, please, we are ready for the sight of little green shoots popping up from the ground - this mama wants to get some planting and gardening in!

Rollerskating debut!

This is how Diego rolls-
b

Up with Daddy! Go team go!
The 'classic' skates- way too heavy!
Wow, blast from the past for Rod and I- a rollerskating rink! we had a great time trying this with the kids- we naively started out with 'real' rollerskates that weight a ton and were totally uncontrollable...then we wised up and got the fisher-price style that worked much better. Thankfully this place was very kid friendly, so I could be out there in my shoes . They even had scooters and strollers available. Overall, we thought it was quite fun- I can't wait to go back sometime when I can actually get on some skates myself....
