Rod took Mia around and she she did great saying Trick or Treat, Thank You...and even going back to ask for extra candy for her Daddy (hey, was that cued??) The Dude (dressed as a BUCKEYE) stayed to handout candy with Mommy...he had fun until his little hands got too cold...then it was off to a cozy bed.

Harvest Party 2008

Carissa. Bella. Mia. Josie. Hailey. It still is quite hard to get everyone on the couch, in costume, and smiling for a picture--- maybe next year...

The girls played 'decorate the pumpkin' they did pretty well putting all the features in the correct spot- no blindfold necessary at this point....

Carissa's beautiful smile- her bib looks like silk...

Ita Angulo made beautiful hat and ponchos for the girls...

Ito and SUPERDUDE enjoy the night...

Harvest Party 2008

Per Mia's request, she was a 'radiotower princess'. You'll have to zoom in to see the shirt...best we could think of...

Introducing SUPER DUDE...

As the night wore on...Mia's costume evolved into ....a bag lady?? her shopping cart is just out of the picture- but, hey, that would come in handy for trick-or-treat. Unfortunately- her costume, er, molted . We have feathered trails throughout the house...so we'll have to create something different for the 31st....

Nothings tops off a party like a visit from a giant CHICKEN!

It only took 6 months...

...for Mia to ask to hold Diego! Horray for our TWO LITTLE PUMPKINS!

Really, you don't say, well okay...hmmm....

I think she gets it from her Daddy...

Ahh, yes, we continue to toile away in the potty training adventure- we figure we have at least 1 1/2 more years until preschool....so we'll pace ourselves...

Apparently Mia would like to seek a different market approach to the uses of Pull-Ups...

Bienvenidos Abuelos!

We've really enjoyed Rod's parents visit so far- Mia is picking up a lot of spanish- and Diego, well, he's just being cute....

Pumpkin Picking Hayride

We got to celebrate Mia's friends birthday at a pumpkin patch- a first time hayride experience for Diego, Mia, and Rod's Mom...it was a great evening. Mia even enjoyed a piece of field corn (mmm, yummy...and Diego slobbered on a big gourd- so fun was had by all....)
